• +HRV: 200+ simultaneous readings vs. Polar H10 chest strap to calculate average error rate
• +Sleep: Where PSG data is available, we compare sleep stage classification accuracy
• +Battery: Logged charge cycles over full test period to determine real-world battery life
• +Water resistance: Shower, pool, and rain tested over the 30-day period

Independence

Rankings are based on testing outcomes, not affiliate commissions. A ring with a higher commission rate will not receive a higher ranking. Brands cannot pay for sponsored reviews or guaranteed placements.

Updates

Review pages are updated quarterly or when a significant software update changes a ring's performance. The "Last reviewed" date on each page reflects the most recent update.
